study

ink and chai
one more interpretation ;)

After, let's see, 27 years of studying astrology on my own, I decided two things.

Firstly, that I was ready to make this my main path - combining many drives, such as the desire to help others, the need to delve into mysteries, the pull to make a contribution, and the innate yearning for perpetual learning and creativity....

Also, that I wanted to apply myself to a more formal learning structure. Partly to help me fill in certain gaps in methodology - my brain rebels when I attempt to do it with all the freedom of self-study - and partly for the qualification - what many like to see when purchasing your book or taking your e-course, you know?

I'm an intuitive astrologer, but I need to add the precision of basic analysis/synthesis.

So, just this morning (while my planets are well-aligned and before Mercury and Uranus go into hiding on us, *chuckle*) I signed up for a 1 year Foundation Course, and eventually will take the Diploma.

Quietly excited.

  18. dear monica, thanks for reading my blog and finding a minute to comment, I was really happy when I read your comment. I know sometimes in other countries the movement is not so known since all the information is mainly in spanish, so I'm committed to providing good information in English. I am really glad you feel inspired.
Really amazing blog you have here!

  23. How exciting! I have been interested in astrology since a teen and took a 6 month evening course in it at a local college when I was 19.
It is a fascinating subject! Wishing you all the best on this new path!

  25. I am inspired by your commitment to making this love your main path. I have far too many loves that I have been struggling for years to find out which one is worthy of my main path. right now i find comfort in the mamahood main path, but on the side, I still wonder.

i have MANY loves - art and photography play a big role. but it does feel good to have a formal path like this.

  26. How exciting! I bet it is great to feel that pull for learning and having some clarity in what path you want to take. I can feel my own path shifting, though I don't know where exactly it's shifting to, and don't really expect to find out until I'm at least forty, lol.

  27. Exciting news! So happy for you. So many shifts seem to be happening in your life this year. A 'rebirth' of the very core of you!

  28. That's wonderful Monica, and super exciting. I always benefit most from structured study rather than 'going it alone' ... I tend to get lazy or just lose motivation. Plus you're right, that qualification at the end of it all is really useful in so many ways.

Best of luck with your study! :)

  29. this IS exciting news, Monica. i'm so impressed and inspired that you're going to study your passion and gift in a formal setting. you really DO have a gift - i believe. i've thought about moon progressed moon reading almost every day since you've done it. and i think i'm on track - trying to move more towards innovation and introspection. the shift has not been uncomplicated - a lot of back and forth - but i can feel the change. i'm so happy for you :)

  32. I live in India, & here very few people have astrology qualifications & though widely used & fiercely believed in by some religions, it's now considered a bit of hocus pocus. I really admire it though, I wish there were astrologers like you here, I would definitely consult with you. Congrats in advance about your diploma!

  33. Monica, what wonderful news :) I'm so excited for you !
Me too I'm on my last weeks of becoming a Reiki Master and astrology and tarot are over my shoulder constantly looking at me, asking me when am I going to finally take a "real course" rather than learning by myself ! It will come, I know !
I don't know if you have been to my blog, I erased it, I wasn't in conection with it anymore. I'm working on a website where I'll be giving free tarot and oracle readings (I need to give just give something that I love to do to the world) + Reiki . It's wonderful to finally understand what our path is and finally accept it right ?
I have a new job now that will be providing me with what I need to take the courses I want to take (holistic nutrition will be first of them).

Big hug and can't wait to hear from your course.
