  1. ouch.

    *sigh*

this makes me anxious...i worry about that beautiful and reasonable vision and the giving up of it. :(

still, the thing about us dreamers is that there's always another vision...another road...

(holding you tightly in my fellow-dreaming heart)

  3. Feeling for you, this must be unsettling for you and yours, carry on dreaming and visioning they don't come in one shape or form.

  5. echoing what the others have said here....it sucks big time when we have to let go of something that wasn't even an unreasonable vision.

Remember the words of T. Swift..."In a storm in my best dress, fearless!"

    1. ironically, it was over-optimism that got me into trouble, lol
so had to re-adjust my view.... and then allow optimism back in ;)

  12. Letting go is seldom easy. Best wishes for your new way, and peace as you settle into it. I find I'm often surprised by how much better things can work out to be than what I'd envisioned...

    1. certainly isn't easy, especially when it was a big life-encompassing vision. but there's hope...

  13. i have always, always had trouble letting go. part of it for me is low self esteem. i reach for the past (usually ex boyfriends) because i always think it was somehow "better." since i have no idea what the future is, and that unknown is scary, the past and the known must be "better." this is one of the bigger untruths i live.

i've spoken a lot to visions not panning out, putting insane pressure on myself, the like. a source of comfort for me is realizing that i have no control, and turning those things over to the universe. it feels good to hand it off, to let it be, to give the power over.

i'm sending thoughts and blessings and power your way.

    1. yes,low esteem has such a huge effect on letting go. without self confidence, we seek safety wherever we can find it easiest, often to our detriment.
